Australia!!
Yes, I kept it quiet, but now that I'm sat here in Los Angeles waiting for the 15 hour flight direct to Sydney, I feel it's the perfect time to announce it.
Off I go. Down under.
I left it 7 years, but I'm finally going back. Thanks to my Great Auntie Joan who made it possible!
I flew 5 hrs from Orlando today and had a 14 hour layover in Los Angeles... check out what I did below (pictures).
See you on the other side... mate!

It's my best friend's 25th tomorrow. She has no clue I have arranged a surprise party for her tonight. Pretty pumped about it, let's see how it goes - wish me luck.
Thanks to all who helped, too.
Happy 25th Birthday Jamie!

Avoided weather -a hold, a go around, a fuel emergency, a diversion. DL1019 last night was pretty wild.
Eventually got to Houston, TX.
Probably no better way to start my blog by a check on that 'little' list we all have tucked away in the back of our minds.
T'was always a MUST to see Air Force One in person and guess what.... I got that privilege today at Orlando International Airport!
Sky clear, visibility 10SM or more, " AF1 cleared land runway One-Eight-Right"
For all you fellow pilots out there, the unusual thing was that all other aircraft were landing the opposite direction (to the north) but it's the President remember, so all rules can be bent, right? Of course.
It was hectic around Disney World this afternoon; police blocking roads, highways, intersections... this is America so it's all a big oooo-aaah when it comes to their number one man. Great experience nonetheless.
What's next on that bucket, I hear you say?! #watchthisspace
Good times, Good day. Life is good.
